Thanks Chandu! Reasons to relocate are family and weather. At this point, I've a decent job in Chicago. Do you think this may be the right time to relocate to an Atlanta area given the economic climate....Also, how r the overall job prospects..
Not quite sure. I don't live there anymore. Cost of living is low compared to Chicago and also the salaries are low. Weather is good. It is hot, mild and cold - thunderstorms are common, big city, well connected by delta airlines. City is full of new immigrants and it is lively and bubbly.

EB2 and EB3 at one point were in the same boat. Now that EB2 is advancing and is way ahead of EB3, the EB3 applicants are upset and angry. Their anger is very much justified. However, their anger should not be directed towards EB2 applicants.
As I pointed out in another post, we are all players here and we are all playing by the rules. The system is not fair. Anger should be directed towards the system and not towards EB2s.
"hate the game, don't hate the playa....Chris Rock" is appropriate here.
Most of the EB2s, if not all, are supportive of reform and are supportive towards EB3 friends. The anger may lead to the disruption of this support.
We are all in this together. We all need to stay together.

What is this fight all about ??? eb3-->eb2 ... or spillover??? changing any/both of them will not solve underlying problem.. Grow up people
why not go for real problem??? if you want to ask congress/administration, ask for some real solutions which will help everyone. To name a few...
1. Capture lost Visa numbers
2. Get rid of country quota.. how does this country based quota makes sense in EB Category??

Always keep a soft copy of the approval notices with you. I have paystubs on ADP so I can pull it online any time. At my previous comp, all my payslips where on the intranet.

Concerning is most students do not know or care of these issues. All they want is to graduate find a job. Jobs are plenty thanks to 'Desi Consultants'.
The worst part many working pros who know of these issues hardly make an effort to work on a solution.

Is not it strange that IRS processed the tax refund before completing the ITIN processing? They could not confirm the current status of my wife's ITIN processing, as they could not pull out any details about the W-7 based on the information provided by me. They only guessed that it might be still undergoing processing. I wonder if they misplaced the W-7 form or something like that :-(.

Don't worry, his viewership is something like 200k. considering 300 million population of the US, just think what %age of people watch him? i don't think his constant whining makes a diff. Americans are smart enough that these so called news anchors are nothing more than sales/marketing guys employed indrectly by the political parties.
People like Sean Hannity, rush linbaugh constantly bashed Obama (they still do), but how much diff does it make to the american people?

Now what are my options going forward and how does this affect my chances of a successful PERM filing ??

My immigration attorney said it was OK for my wife to "volunteer" as long as the work was "volunteer", i.e. something a US citizen could "volunteer" to do.
She volunteered to work at a local library and it was a good diversion until they set a schedule for her and removed a job posting in the same library - then it became both a question of her being exploited and taking a job away from a US citizen, so she had to give it up. So, the lessen is, if it is truly volunteer work, then your spouse should be able to set his/her own schedule; if the schedule is set for him/her, then it becomes a problem.

So, I guess she cannot continue to work on H1(company B) upon returning using AP(got as my dependent thru Company A) !!!?? am I correct?
Are you sure about this? I don't think this is true. My wife entered using AP and works on H-1B. Note that she is a derivative on my I-485 and works on H-1 for a totally different employer.

well i got marriage church, but we didn't got are license yet, because my husband have some problem in court.( he is a citzen) We'll know if he will go to jail or not in march 31.

as folks mentioned above it is totally ok to not renew AP...do it if u travellin in the next few months...
on a side note...do people here know the average time it is takin to renew AP nowdays....TSC......paper and/or electronic..?
I had put in EAD renewal at TSC and got the approved EAD in hand within a month ...that was really good speed...anyone has info on AP approval timelines???

I am working for company A and I have offer from Company B, I thinking of my options, Here is my situation
1. I have approved I140 > 180 days in actually 300 days
2. I have approved EAD
3. mine is labor transfer case and I used an existing labor that matched my job profile
4. Company B is ready to hire me in the same/similar role and are ready to give AC21 employment letter with same details as in my labor.
5. I have approved copy of my labor that was transferred and all other copies related to my case like I140, I485 application and Advance parole etc,....
Please give me some guidance on if I should be accepting the offer from Company B, I am concerned because my labor was transferred from another employee. I have worked for company A for nearly 4 years now and my GC is in process for almost 4 years, labor switch was done like 2 years ago.
Based on this explanation do you see any risk and am I missing anything here, in terms of getting specific documentation from company A application..
