Can we setup a separate payment account for those willing to contribute to this campaign? It becomes difficult to coordinate if every individual goes on to mail the flowers. Instead we should all contribute to the "send a flower" campaign and then the person in charge of the account should send those flowers (with the note) on a pre-selected date.
It makes things easier for people and they may be more willing to participate!
The other thing is to raise awareness about this campaign! Mail your friends...

Right, my bad! I was not referring to the Employment Letter for GC job. I was referring to the Current Employment Letter which is not required as initial evidence. Should have clarified.

Security background should not be an issue more... It is pathetic that folks with PD 2002 are still waiting... You guys are silently sufferiing , it is time that you remain silent no more.

Simple reason USCIS will tell you/senator/judge/anyone who really seek the resolution of our loooooong delayed cases is.....case is in security/background/additional review checks.....so everyone will shut their mouth and forward this message to the concerned person.....

There were so many rejected L1 Individual petitions filed by TCS/Infy/Wipro etc.. These big companies will include all the internal tools in the resumes and INS asked for the purchase orders for all the specialised tools.
As there were no PO's for those tools, petitions were rejected in large numbers. This has started in the last year and continuing... i personally have lot of friends whose petitions were rejected and went back to India..
I also know a few people from these companies. Remember when the senators/congressmen sent the letters asking for explanation of how they are using h-1/l-1. Companies responded with the biggest bull---- answers.
Now they are seeing what happens when you don't take serious when government representatives ask you things. Unfortunately; they are being picked on but everyone else is becoming collateral damage.

If AC21 memo is non-binding, which immigartion law is binding? We can go with only current rules/laws; the rest is speculation.

USCIS are doing internal transfer from more than a year(140 & 485). They are processing 140 and 485 at both the centers and requesting the application at NE only. It seems now you noticed.
I looked at both the service center webpages(texas & nebraska) & I-485 application has to be sent to Nebraska only.I do not understand now why they are transferring the application from nebraska to Texas
if I-140 is approved at Texas.
Has anyone have any idea?

I and my wife have been SCREAMING, FIGHTING for over four years now. We are now so frustrated that we have EVEN DISCUSSED THINGS LIKE TAKING UP OUR LIVES !!! I really mean it. For both of us, our career is the single most important thing.
We had decided to wait for our next step in life like having a kid or putting in a big investment till we both at least have a job. Inspite of both of us having Masters degress from US universities, we are both suffering - me languishing in a filthy job and my wife on H4 - for the past 5 years !!! She is now more than 35 making it difficult to have kids etc...
I don't have the choice of going back to my home country due to many other personal reasons. I just don't know what to do... I am losing my sanity.
Man, this website relieves my stress as it makes me realize that there are people whole lot depressed than I am , and it puts my life into perspective. Stress is only a state of mind.
For you sir, please live up to your username and cheer up. First thing you need to do is make a baby, everything will fall in it's place, trust me.

The 485 application ( See on page 4 1st para ) clearly states that they need a letter from employer stating that the job for which GC has been filed is still available and the salary will be paid as per the LC and 140. This is NOT current employment verification letter. Period. Its about future job. The job titles of H1B (current job) and GC (future job) can be different. Get out of the H1B transfer and extension mode.
If the letter from employer is part of initial evidence and you don't have it, your application might come back as per the memo release on Jun 16th.

I am also frustated with GC process. It is literally controlling my life...
I don't want to go India because not sure whether I would get Visa or not. I don't want to join some prime vendor company because not sure whether they would start GC process immediately or not, and vendor could terminate the job immediately after contract expiration or any other issue. As everyone knows that desi employers are blood suckers and on top of it H1B extensions are very tough to get with them. I was almost on edge of leaving the country on my last extension.
With desi employer, It looks to me that my career goal is only GC. I don't know when I get that and I am sure that my goals will be none after getting GC because I would be exhausted by then....

Also issue of discrepancy of EB2-I and EB3-I is raised first time that is after Aug VB. But I think it will fade away after oct VB when normal processing starts as diff in PD between EB3 and EB2 will be 1 or 2 years and each category will have equal Visa numbers for 9 months.
Also the issue of recapture was raised when in 2005 the dates were retrogressed . But I think the issue will fade away after 2014 when most of the categories will be either current or near current.
PS; I am a strong proponent of recapture but such insensitive post to EB3 plight deserves such a response.
